Six years ago, Debbie crossed paths with the film director Lex Melony, marking the beginning of a fruitful collaboration. In the span of their partnership, Debbie has been featured in two of Melony's projects, notably starring as herself in the recent short film "Hold Me Tight," which garnered widespread acclaim and numerous awards. This success has not only elevated Debbie's profile but has also taken her to various international film festivals, allowing her to jet-set around the world.
More recently, Debbie and Lex Melony joined forces once again, this time venturing into the realm of film festival organization. Together, they are actively involved in creating a London-based LGBTQA+ film festival. This ground-breaking event aims to showcase emerging artists within the community, with awards presented for excellence in directing, writing, performing, and visual production. Their collaborative efforts seek to provide a platform for up-and-coming talents in the vibrant and diverse landscape of LGBTQA+ cinema.

A Short Film By Lex Melony
Mallory and Isaac Fridman have been happily married for over 30 years. Isaac works away a lot, and Mallory is almost always by herself. To keep the fire in the relationship alive they agree to communicate through frequent love letters. When a new love letter arrives, Mallory loves to read out the most beautiful parts to her friend, Val.
It could have been an example of a great love story until the day Val sees Mallory in the park, hugging a smart and attentive man, it makes life very complicated. A few days later another letter arrives on Val's doorstep by mistake, and there's something about the handwriting, something familiar, in a way Isaac's could never be.
